Batteries are the way to go, just seem expensive at the moment.
Just in the process of upgrading home solar from 5Kwh system to a total of 14.3Kwh system.
Will definitely have a surplus.
And with the shonky way the feed in tariff works (NSW). will still be buying at 22c Kw and gifting back at 6c Kw.
But batteries at this stage do not seem cost effective. Personally am waiting for a 30 to 35kwh storage at under 10 grand.
Will probably need to wait a couple of years. LOL
