At SNE-5, they didn't haul 100+ metres of core, so that saved the JV addditional days with the trips & wiper trip. Other then that, restof activity should have been as planned according to their agreed rigrates. That explains the cost saving etc etc.
AS for VR#1, expect a little bit of the 490 sands from the Upper Resrvr.
Then the blocky S520 sand frm the Lower reservoir alongwith the mysterious S540.
The 540 was water bearing at SNE-1, so towards west of SNE1 it should pop up into the Oil Leg (above the OWC).
Porosity etc should be good. They just need to see via the wireline logs if its got any Oil in it. Not sure if they'll core it. If yes, thenthey need to redo the volumetrics.
Aptian would b a bonus, so log the sands first & whilst drilling ahead the LWD tool behind the drill bit should pick up change in resistivity (ie oil bearing or water bearing strata).
It's an interesting problem to have esp. with the sands from the gas cap dipping into the oil leg & some portion of the sand below the OWC popping up.
And they haven't tested the thinnish 440 sand in the gas cap, this should pop up elsewhere on the field.
Bet you their fence diagram guru is on a second or third set of nails by now with regards to the static & dynamic model. Refer slide-7 shows the gamma ray response. Sands r shown in red by these geniuses instead of Yellow (oil reservoir should have been shown in green & gas sands r always red as per std color schema).
