Your question IMO is a no-brainer. SMM is a great stock, it's sure to get to $7 - $8 over the next 12 months, and may still become a target from another company.
However, I feel that BMN is only just starting to get recognised. There is speculation of a 100,000t deposit on Goanikontes, although this will take time to be proven. There are 3 drill rigs working on the site, so results will be coming through regularly over the next 12-18 months. As far as I know, they got an excellent reception in Canada recently and a TSX listing wouldn't be out of the question some time in the next year. There is a JORC resource on the way too.
BMN has a tight capital structure, and the directors hold a large amount of stock, making a tight situation even tighter.
IMO this stock could get to $7+ over the next 6-12 months.
