The ABR 'new chip' link to BRN surely (surely!) has got to be at worst highly plausible. Thanks uiux and HPr.
About the closest thing to a fact regarding high volume SNAP chip application that we've seen (?). It will be interesting to see who they might be working with and how far advanced they are with the relationship (not that I'd expect to find out until that 'development is complete').
The further things progress with partnerships like ABR, vision/security commercialisation & other trials the more I'm convinced BRN have positioned themselves to take advantage of some really practical and ubiquitious applications.
I know almost nothing of coding/Nengo/Python but it sounds like they've partnered with the right guys to make the development of and ease of application of the products commercially attractive. Between Thorpe and Co.'s algorithms/SNAP expertise and ABR's ..... coding platform ??..... and Brainchip's low power onboard processing/learning hardware they really look to have things nicely in motion (?).... and all the stuff we don't (can't or they'll have to kill us) know about.
Very much looking forward to them eventually moving on to sound processing applications, etc. Also looking forward to finding out what their plans for the structure / listing or listings/ future funding of projects is and how it will affect us.
I realise I haven't offered any new information here just some thoughts. Clearly I'm leaning well on the side of looking at it positively as a holder but I'm finding it harder and harder not to.
I can't say the waiting is not still getting to me, trying to spend as much time at work as possible to get my head out of HC.
