Wow! I did seem to hit a raw nerve and merely suggested folks listen to the last update (to remind themselves of what's happening behind the scenes) in the absence of newsflow.

Whilst we're all impatient to see BTA anns., fair to say the complexities associated with bringing bankable deals in and the complexity of interrelated agreements meaning things don't happen overnight. (I can almost hear the howls of derision so hear me out).

If you bother to listen, you'll know GV is more measured, has explained he sees no value in ann. MOUs (and is on record they exist), states they have "richer" discussions (since non-FTA 1 Dec ann. itself issued promptly by DOE post Sierra knockout) and the last gating item (JB), the ASX please explain clearly states the Board reluctantly agreed to a short VGS ann., that the Stonepeak discussion remains ongoing and dependant on BTAs, BNP Paribas is as far advanced as possible and serious technical DD is underway on OSMR and the EPC contract. (My italics for emphasis)

Facts. If you choose to listen.

Yet the conspiracy theories are frankly a joke.

Even today, we have folk dismissing GV's latest on market purchase. That no deal will be forthcoming etc etc. Righting a sinking ship. What rubbish!

If you bother to check LNG's corporate policy, you'd know precisely the terms of 'closed periods' (fortnight before and 2 days after HY & FY results ann.) and that a 'special closed period' precludes insiders, consultants etc (yes really) from purchasing LNG stock if declared (i.e. BTA imminent). So don't be so quick to dismiss or criticise.

As for ripping off shareholders and no US listing, get real. We applauded when US NEDs were appointed, enjoyed the ride when US instos became (and remain) SSHs and frankly were incredibly fortunate the Board (MB at the helm) did the CR @ $4.35. Lady Luck then deserted us when energy/ commodity markets tanked. And GV came in (4 Apr for the record).

Don't wish to harp on, but as I've said before invest the effort in attending AGMs, make rational suggestions etc. Because one thing I know: GV appreciates shareholder feedback. So cut the crap, man up and make some constructive suggestions instead of whingeing.

And FWIW, I really don't GAFWUT. Just sharing honest, objective thoughts some may appreciate (and backed up by plenty of objective insights from far and wide, literally).

See you after the BTAs roll in.

    Cheers
