Amongst other things the article  says..


"Central chief executive Richard Cottee has been well aware of the opportunity available to the junior in east coast markets but efforts to gather shareholder support to bolster the company's funding position have proved unsuccessful."

Forgive me Angela for a second quote but your editorial IMO is spot on...

"While Central's hopes of driving a higher offer from Macquarie suffered a recent setback after French oil major Total withdrew from an exploration venture with Central, the growing realisation of the severity of the east coast gas squeeze has increased the value of undeveloped gas, particularly molecules that can be brought to the market relatively swiftly."

This provides support for the gist of  my previous post early this morning.
