I think you'll find that arrangement relates to UBS - in its capacity as prime broker - locating stock from a borrow pool which it is about to transfer to some party(ies).

Now I can't say with 100% certainty what someone, who borrows stock from a prime broker, intends to do with that borrowed stock, but I can guess.

As to "what happens today????", I never make it my business to wonder what the many and varied market participants may, or may not, do on any given day/week/month because I think it is a futile exercise.

Instead, I far prefer to focus all me efforts on the fundamentals of a business.
