The problems with laterite treatment plants is precisely the reason why Intec took the additional step of spending $5 million on the Burnie demonstration plant. This plant ran for 12 months, finally achieving its objective of nine weeks "steady-state" operation, thereby proving the process.
This is the sort of long-timeframe undertaking that JRV is going to have to do from scratch, if they insist on ignoring INL's offer of help.
