As the predominant type was Jersey, I would say it probably was A2. When I grew up the cows on our dairy farm were predominantly Jersey as well, which is probably why the milk tasted different to modern milk, (until I found A2)
Hmmm, living in Queensland is close enough I guess.....
You would think that she would have clicked, maybe there wasn't much A2 left, (it does sell out on occasion at the local Woolies). Whatever the reason she honestly thought she had bought A2 brand milk, the packaging and that bright yellow label and the large font A2 convinced her of that. Get 100 people in court saying the same thing and Lion are in deep doodoo.
