    Its illegal if it happens even if not proven.

    Simply buying and selling of shares for the purpose of creating or maintaining a share price is also illegal according to the High Court.

    Large numbers of small computer driven downtick trades forcing lower prices in daily trading is at extreme odds with the High Court ruling which regards genuine sellers as those looking to receive the best returns for sales.

    This type of non-genuine selling is illegal market manipulation and is happening as we speak.
