Two-thirds of One Nation voters are switching from the Coalition and one-third from Labor. The support from immigrants comes from Liberal voters in suburban Sydney, the pollsters found.
Among comments coming up in research of One Nation voters in focus groups are such comments as: “You can’t trust any of them (Liberal or Labor); they’re in it for themselves. We’re working harder than ever and what for? For rich people to line their own pockets and I don’t know how my kids will ever afford a house.”
The research found the One Nation vote in NSW is very similar to the Shooters Fishers and Farmers base.
