PAWA late with their power eh ? Well surprise surprise !
I feared this would happen and have posted on it both HC and the company. In my experience you can never trust power utilities to meet an industry need on time. They are notorious with dragging their feet - Always at the new customer's expense.
Actually I would have been very surprised if they had met the target.
The problem is that when a new show has to go cap in hand to a government utility seeking power (as CMR would undoubtedly have had to do) it becomes impossible to write a Liquidated Damages for late completion clause into a supply contract - hence there is no incentive to perform.
If there are any utility people any on HC who wish to debate this criticism with me feel free. I have plenty of examples. Westmoon
