I made my comment on communication to the market before but my opinion aside, the company has stated there is an acquisition deal due to be concluded yesterday and it is a material deal (otherwise they wouldn't have announced it in the first place) so I would expect an announcement is required either way because it is material.

Having said all the above I am still bullish on this company because of its steady growth and soon to be profitability. Also a not unimportant part of my investment thesis in STL has been that it has delivered on its promises, and it has generally communicated very well (better than most). Hiccups happen, but stakeholder communication goes a long way to smoothing things over when uncertainty reigns.
