the purpose of an option is to gain more leverage in a company. You can buy many more options than shares, because they are cheaper. But at some stage, assuming they go up you can convert them, and have many more shares than you ordinarily would have. The only catch is they have an expiry date. Where at that date if you don't convert them they perish. So you have until the expiry date for mxc to perform.
It would be pointless to convert them now, buy you can get a form and do it....
