However, to look at just the man and not the party which supposedly sets his policies is not sufficient. Again there is absolutely no doubt for me on past performance that the Libs are bereft of a dignified vision for Australia's future prosperity - with rapid changes in the region around us, Australia needs to have a team at the helm who can take advantage of opportunities, not the Howard team who just continue to sell off our treasures, lining their mates and particularly foreigners' pockets as they do so, whilst substantially ignoring climate change,
marketing of innovative Australian value-added corporations and most damningly, the need for investment in education and research.
