Mr Andrew Forrest (Non-Executive Chairman)

Mr Forrest was appointed Non-Executive Chairman of Arafura Pearls in November 2006.
Mr Forrest has extensive experience in the mining sector, with specific expertise in major project finance. He has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Fortescue Metals Group Ltd since April 2003 and also Chairman of the Australian Children's Trust.
Previous roles held by Mr Forrest have included: Chairman of Siberia Mining Corporation (now Monarch Resources Ltd) and Moly Mines Ltd ; CEO and Deputy Chairman of Anaconda Nickel Ltd (now Minara Resources); Director of the Western Australian Chamber of Minerals and Energy and Chairman of Athletics Australia.
