No one can consistently pick the peak or trough of the SP movement, sometimes you win sometimes you lose, but if you bought in at 40 or 45c and haven't tried to sell down, then it's been a long time between drinks i would guess.
Myself, i prefer to only sell a portion of my holdings, if it works out, it's all good.
If not and the price rises, i still make a partial profit from remaining shares, and invest the money from the sale elsewhere until i get enticed to buy back in.
Keeping in mind, I'm in no position to give advice (no qualifications in relation to the share market), just sharing a strategy that's worked for me from time to time.
