(extracta1) What on earth are you talking about "emotional attachment"? It seems you are the one getting emotional here. Where did you get $400mln as a number they will potential get from the Chinese? Are you making numbers up?
All i have said is that CNNC is a minority debt and asset holder. If it wants to secure the 75% of PDN's stake in LH it will have to either step up and pay everyone out or it will most likely fail to secure the asset in administration . Do you seriously think the other debt holders who own over 70% of the obigations are going to stand by idle?
Do you want the company to fail?
All i have said is that there is a way forward here for a deal/s to be done if the relevant parties are rational and sensible. If they are not and pursue a silly strategy then it wont end well and CNNC in the bid to secure the LH asset will most likely fail or at the very least be caught up years of litigation. Because once it goes into admisntration, all the parties lose control. Also remember once adminsitration occurs, apart from ongoing care/mainatenance/operation nothing else can occur, so again CNNC is kidding its self if it expect it can simple grab it easily. That said, PDN has already announce in mid Feb that with the exception of CNNC who did respond that the other parties are all supportive of PDN's proposal which indicates they are supportive of the firm and have a preference for the entity to survive and succeed.
