Then argue if they want the uranium they then have to look after it? But what about geologically unstable sights (on continental rifts with earthquake activity) such as California and Japan? How do they 'safely' get to play the game?

No easy answer. Hawke may have had it right for once. Bury it all at Woomera-the most stable piece of pasture on the planet and already contaminated?

Transport issues still have to be considered but that is the case irrespective of location-whether you move it 100 metres or 1000km.
