Yes....that is also now being looked into....there are several new angles being looked into at the moment tying various industries together so that synergies can be achieved.
It's just a crying shame that Australia, with all it's wealth and capable individuals hasn't had money poured into research and development, so that it could be a world leader in innovation and new technologies.
Imagine what some, like the Japanese for instance, could achieve if they had anything like the wealth within in this land in their own....especially when you consider their achievements from a country with negligible natural wealth, and a society that was all but destroyed 60 years ago.
