It's interesting to note that the original poster wants to make a mill and has specified uranium stocks- can't exactly fathom why JUST uranium.

I agree with your mentioned strategy.

Some here mention an investment in 1993 in blue chips etc, sums like $53,000 and $63,000 invested back then would hand you a million dollars.
I believe in Blue Chips but some "penny dreadfulls" exist whereby through researching thoroughly and believing in the story and slowly accumulating can pay handsomely.
No point in my mentioning the stocks but one in particular (i think you can guess) has been an absolute silent achiever, so good in fact that it is still too good for some to see, believe and understand. It is not nearly as cheap as it was just 4-5 years ago and one of the very few company's in Australia that has rewarded its shareholders in a big way when divesting.
Not to mention its latest backers!!

I hope that "completed" will take note of some of the posts and numerous answers received. It has been interesting to see the interest his question has created.
