The EPCC will shortly publish its report on its research into a little known theory first published by Einstein.
It is called the theory of irrelevancy and is summarized by the formula E = 1/mc squared.
E = The Efficacy of a scientific paper m = the mass or size of that paper c = the number of scary words or phrases per chapter
In simple terms the greater the size of the report multiplied by the square of its scare factor, the less notice you should take of its results!
In our research to date, the smallest value for E appears in the IPCC papers. If anyone has an example of a scientific report with a smaller E factor please send it in so that it can be considered in our research.
