see there are so many permutations of what might happen
IE. Citicorp, HSBC or Old Mutual etc buy for UK and then they split and sell Oz assets to NAB/CBA etc.

Nab/cba/wpac buy and sell UK

or we simply might have at the moment a "blocker" ie. more than 10% to stop compulsory aquisition of 90%.

or we could have an O/s company/s and Oz co./s acquiring seperately to do a deal to split for their own bits
The main thing to read here is that AMP isn't a dead horse and corporates are prepared to put their money on the table... this one wont be for the faint heated though,dont be surprised if it goes below $6 again .. if it does I'm buying.
