I'm missing something here @LetsTryAgain
As an ASX listed company, Structural Monitoring Systems (ASX:SMN) are bound by the Corporations Act 2001 Section 671B
http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/cth/consol_act/ca2001172/s671b.html
So why don't we have to lodge a 604 if there has been a change in substantial holdings of +/- 1% ?
I haven't been paying a great deal of attention to the daily ups and downs of SMN, this is a long term hold for me and has the potential to be an income stream (via dividends) in retirement, so unless you would like to point me in the direction of where they have not adhered to the Corporations Act ie: if a substantial holder increased or decreased their holding and they haven't notified the share holders via an announcement to the ASX then I will have to do some digging around myself (I am being a tad lazy here, )
cheers
