We are looking at buying an apartment in Queensland as a getaway. Not sure exactly where. Noosa has come up, but my two parasites would prefer somewhere more happening. What the heck would they know. They have never been to Noosa anyway and it's not their money. The waterfront apartment sounds nice. Of course the parasites want three bedrooms so they can have one each. Apparently we have a money tree in the backyard

Speaking of real estate and money. I was thinking that one of the main reasons real estate has been so good to me is because of the leverage it allows you to have. With 300-400k you get exposure to 2 million of funds. Good tax benefits too but that is another story. Anyway, I am thinking of getting a decent margin lending account. I am pretty sure it will substantially increase my anxiety levels though so it would have to be very conservative. Never had a margin call and I would like to keep it that way. Watch this space.
