Its good to see SJB back in full swing... I have also emailed Mark P. (Managing Director) and John Hannaford (Chairman) with my questions and have been told by Mark that he will respond shortly. We will compare notes when we get a response from OGX...
I do not have any secret business/professional interests in OGX except those as a large concerned shareholder. I have put a lot of money (and trust) into the Company over the years and have decided (after years of reading Hotcopper) to do do something.
I do not believe that the current make up of the BOD has the ability/time to allow this company to reach its full potential. We need to get rid of at least 2 Directors and replace them with competent people that have knowledge in underground mining techniques as well as real mine management skills. People that are willing to put in the time and effort.
The questions we have put forward to OGX are reasonable and need to be answered clearly.
OUR MINING REPORT NEEDS TO BE RELEASED IMMEDIATELY so we can see for ourselves what went wrong.
A take-over from Anglo?.... perhaps this is the final End Game? However we need to be able to negotiate from a position of strength with intelligent/tough new Directors that have a real plan to put us back into production quickly (not later this year). Then we can get a decent price for our little mine and all move along with our lives.
I will speak to the Solicitor later today and get details of the names/numbers that we have registered in our little group. I will then contact everyone by email/phone so we can discuss strategy in private.
Worst case scenario is that we set up a 'Shareholder Action Group' with which we can send emails to management together and put more pressure on OGX to respond and take our concerns/suggestions more seriously as we can discuss voting on matters together as a group.
I would like to see as many like minded shareholders register as this will give strength to our group no matter what the end game is for the BOD. The more people the better.
SJB please keep us updated with the CSIRO Mobile Assay Lab and whether OGX management have even taken this excellent suggestion into account. I would like to have you in our 'Shareholder Action Group' or SAG for short.
Lets get this company (and share price) heading in the right direction and producing gold. Time for the BOD to go...resign/retire/remove - I don't care which.
