Thanks for the kind words mate. I do feel like I'm getting better at this spec game but most of my cash is getting siphoned out for my upcoming wedding The pink jersey may attest to my successful tips but I'm never fully satisfied. As I've always maintained, the STT threads, knowledge library and just the general wealth of knowledge and information from posters in here have enabled me to become a lot better in just under a year. For any person starting out and reading this post, all I can say is to listen when people give advice, weed out the knowledgeable posters from the not so knowledgeable ones and back yourself 100%. Research like crazy, be patient, don't be a d!ck and most importantly be honest. Be humble with your wins but don't let the losses set you back and when all else fails, ramp your stocks like crazy Just kidding on that last point.

If I were to put it down to one thing, I'd say it would be research. It's difficult to know what will be good in the future so some experience helps. Some folks in here have seen emerging sectors or stocks and then watched them take off over and over again over many years. You need to know what are profitable stocks before they become profitable (profitable for you, not the company) so some time in the market helps, whether that be paper trading or actual trading. With research done on a stock that no one is talking about and at the bottom of the cycle, buy on weakness and then just be patient. Eventually it'll get mentioned repetitively in here and on the DT threads and when everyone is buying, you're selling. Easier said then done

So the stocks I'm in at the moment........

    Nah that's too easy. DYOR!
