You should hear more about this today. The ABC radio had an interview with a former federal police officer and spoke strongly about the need for drug reform. Sometime today Bob Carr and Jeff Kennett will be talking more about this and presenting their ideas for drug reform.
It's another great step forward for cannabis and other drugs taken for recreation. Of course the key his is reform. not just cannabis but other drugs could be safer for the public and reduce criminal activity surrounding drugs.
Anyway I see this as another reason as to why investing in cannabis now is a good thing. Ultimately one or more of the companies on the ASX will likely be made a supplier at some point.. people will take drugs legal or not. Let's make it legal and safer.. our police can put their energy to more pressing matters and the public can feel safer:
