Thanks for the posters who shared their investment ideas if they were given million dollars to invest.
It was clear to me that whether you are gold bullish or gold bearish, you all shared the same concept of diversifying portfolio. That is what I would have expected for long term investment or even medium term.

What about short term investment three to six months.
Let us discuss some of the responses:

Gold bullish: they are investing in property market. If you are bullish gold and believe that the economy will crash and the asset prices are unsustainable, wouldn't wise to cash in and sell the properties and investment all the money in gold. When the economy crashes and the correction in property market happens, you can buy the property back from the gold profits. I know it is not that simple because of capital tax gains and stamp duty.

Gold Bearish: Skol does not believe in gold and all his money in fund management and equities which are artificially inflated. what safe guard do you have in place when the economy crash and gold price skyrockets. Most strategists advise 5% of your portfolio be in gold.

What am I interested in, how would you investment the million dollar in short term(three months).
I will start---------- I am 100% in gold and the thread title was written when gold was $1204, currently, it is $1234 and more to come.

Let us see what skol will do and we will have another look at the responses in a month.

Just ignore the strategy for long and medium term, because we are all on the same page.
Since we blog every day and some of us get excited about the daily movement whether it is up or down, the we should think about short term.

Let us see who can double his money in a month.
I am sure being in gold 100%, I will.
