I think it was already six years ago when I followed a case in Germany about a guy suffering severe effects of Tourette Syndrome and started self medicate the illness with smoking Marijuhana at least three times a day.....he got arrested several times for doing so, but he didn't give up and after undergoing a few medical tests the authorities granted him the permit of smoking dope on his own expenses to have a better quality of live......in time he was able to get a job what was impossible before the treatment and since then has a relationship and lives with his girlfriend a happy life....he still gets arrested from time to time when he needs to smoke in public(bus stop) to solve any effects coming up, the cops not always knowing what's going on...

It's well known in the meantime that up to 50 neurological disorders with non existing cure can be treated with MM , not to mention pain and cancer patients, to make their suffering half way acceptable.

IMO it's not all about profits (but its still part of the procedure), it can revolutionise medical research big time.
