I found it a bit confusing that the WAF price on the Aussie is trading well below the close of 25c that occurred on the TSX. With the currency between CAN and AUD being almost parity, I would assume that the prices would remain fairly close as arbitrage opportunities open up if that differ too much.
Overall, gold miners are remaining quite subdued as investors don't seem ready to fully jump in yet. Maybe they are waiting for the price of gold to jump of US1300 to confirm the uptrend.
