Ouch. Thats a Pirate fee.
Mind you, These numbers we've enjoyed are have all been after those Pirate Penalty Points and he does seem to be a benevolent Pirate (is there a Pirate code forbidding that?)
Anyway, I don't mind this one. For me the difference is
Top picks concentrated
No SIO
No HHL
No JB Broking
No Fast Eddies restaurants in Korea
So its just a raw investment portfolio, which is what I thought HML was going to be when I bought into that one
I can't see how this will lose share price and options price wise. $20m is tiny, but he grew HML from $15m a year ago to $50-odd million now. If he was a greedy Pirate he'd add a Zero and take overs.
Clearly its about portfolio performance, not (just) money
3 thumbs up
