old news but worth reading again - especially as Repsol are claiming their recent find as biggest discovery in 30 years. Icewine could pale Repsols find into insignificance.

I was up in the North slope last week and with wind chill of minus 43 degs c in Deadhorse it was an experience I wont forget. Some great pubs in Anchorage but getting to them in the cold and snow isn't easy. Thankfully the break up has started now and the snow is slowly starting to recede so I should be getting stuck into plenty of 'Alaskan Amber' soon enough. GLTAH
