I found Malcy's blog to be a very interesting read. It was certainly interesting reading the various views / options and his take on the situation (given he has recently met with Management); however, in my opinion there is no way in hell our Management would simply halt attempts to resolve the PE situation (whether through the Senegal Government or as mentioned yesterday - potentially taking it to the International Court of Arbitration) just to make the Minister of Senegal Happy. What would that get us? a few extra "Good Leases"? - that is absolutely crazy and I am surprised Malcy posted such a thing. There are no guarantees of finding oil - no matter how good a seismic might look (that's assuming a seismic has even been undertaken) - for all we know we might drill one duster after another. So no, I cannot see management going down that road.
