I guess it's hand to hand battle with the separatists in Eastern Ukrainian. We know what happens when projectile meet fists. Ukrainian's error was to assume they can just join EU/NATO and divorse from a historical ally. Russian backyard and no business for EU to interfere.
Seems Putin is the whipping boy. If your country security gets hacked blame him. Any asasination blame him. Syria blame him. It's always the Russians. CIA is as clean as snow.
