I reckon if the US has a good night, and I mean 100/150 pts then that is monthly resistance and a SPI gap up into the 6250's or above is likely to be an exhaustion gap.
Whether it is an important top then will take a few days to see.
An island reversal would be a bad omen.
I can't see any great date significance for Apr 16 or 17 off hand.
