I tend to disagree.
Baseload is required - especially as global populations grow.
Nuclear ticks a lot of boxes for countries that don't have natural domestic coal supplies - Uranium is far more energy intense and requires less stockpiles (in tonnes) when compared with Coal. I think that Nuclear does have a place in the fuel mix for a long time to come...
