You must be joking? Our Australian owned companies in the gold sector have already been consolidated. The sector has been practically DESTROYED.
Plutonic, Gold Mines of Kalgoorlie, Normandy Posedion and the list goes on.
What companies of reasonable size are left? NCM. LHG and one or two others.
As a matter of national interest leading Australian gold companies should NOT be allowed to be taken over by any overseas company.
