I am not sure that ignoring these events is the way to go. However, the media could take just a slightly different slant and highlight some facts such as the perpetrators are not terrorists. They are murderers. And they are cowardly murderers who attack unarmed and unprepared people in places where it is unlikely that they are putting themselves in danger. They could also point out that no one in their right mind would intentionally go out and prepare for and carryout such abnormal acts.
