    I agree Dust -(gulp!)

John Howard dancing on TV would be a great comedy act -I would be laughing as loud as the next - and I greatly respect him! I think he'd have a good laugh too.

but the Packers, the Murdochs, the Harry Truman and the John Curtin types didn't or don't have the flashy "personality" of the show- business calibre -

but they sure have/had the steel, resolve, and steady hand required to make the right decisions for their businesses - or their country.

Looking forward to the coming soon TV series on John Curtin's life.... should be great.

A good Polly is a good Polly. Simple as that. And a great one (of whatever party) seems to come along for crucial times when he's most needed, in many instances.

Keating and Hawke were a large element of show-business. Yes, they did some good things. But great is debatable. John Curtin WAS a great Labor Prime Minister.

Don't think green tights and sequins are a requirement to get a polly over the line.

Or that people are that gullible.
