Could very well be the case. As you say the nature of the financing will be a good read.
But consider this when looking to Sanofi-REGN. UNS owe them cash for Unifill being wound up. Their WI sigbing some years ago which told of them exclusivley using UNS pumps came with no up front payment or funding. Its been over 12 months (16?) since Medimune signed the follow on agreement for a specific drug and it came with no meaningful up front payment. In fact the past 5 quarters have seen nothing really material to the company in the way of revenue from that follow on signing...the original being many years old!
So I hope and its perfectly logical that Dupilumab getting up will get Sanofi off the couch. But i cant see how that will mean much for funding.
The road still looks rocky and how the hell they stay listed and whether thats the golden axe Orbi or Amgen yield really worries me
