Yes. In my opinion salaries should be drawn that are commensurate with industry standards. A fair share of shares is also reasonable. Compensation above this should be tied to achieving pre-agreed performance milestones (e.g. Licence approval, acquisition complete etc). Beyond that all funds should be put into the business at such an early stage. But what do I know?
