My retirement fund has a value, and it sits in a drawer, in a bank.
Not like my mates retirement fund that is invested in a "quickly emptying shopping mall", or in some overvalued company that has borrowed easy cheap money to add to its balance sheet for "dressup" without actually increasing net worth. Its not in some portfolio that is buying Sydney and Melbourne real estate that has gone up 30% in last 2 years....
I love a good discussion, but all your posts read like you dont read anyone elses....
I havent "bet" that gold will escalate in value, I have realised that it has been pegged down and held in constant undervalued state by "someone", while they rip off society with another little scheme they've got running.
I have realised that gold will only soon come to be worth its real value...
