I'm an accountant and would like to say that tax is complex and can vary greatly between individuals. Depends on many different factors (investor vs trader, individual vs company structure, and so on). If you're unsure then please don't rely on what is said on HC because posters are coming from their own individual circumstances which may be very different to yours.
