    Just watched the presentation.
I came in at 18 cents and have watched it gradually decline...
The speed at bringing the product to market is impressive, but im not totally sold on the product and the benefit to customers. Particularly with the pricing strategy.
For perhaps 10-20grand, you could set up your own system to monitor the power consumption, temperatures etc in your building or factory. After that, you don't need to pay any more as you'll simply be using your existing network.
I just don't see $1500/month as being justifiable.
If you're a big enough company/building that you may be able to save that much by analyzing energy consumption and discovering inefficiencies, you'd probably need to have an electricity bill of $15,000 a month (i.e. 10% potential reductions = $1500). What buildings consume that much energy? Very few I imagine.
But if that is the case, you're MORE than large enough to justify getting your own tailored solution for a one off cost of less than a full year on the Buddy platform. You've probably also got an engineer handy to do it all for you.
If the Buddy salesmen do manage to convince a few clients, I can also see the situation where the customer notices after a few months of subscription some changes that they can make to improve energy costs. They make those changes and then they are no longer making any savings. Then they realise the next way to make a saving is to cancel their Buddy contract.
Nup sorry, I wouldn't buy it. I see sentiment riding this up to 10 cents tops in the next month, then we'll get hit by a bit of reality when even with a product, we're not making an income.
