There's plenty of composites love to be shared around by Lockheed. Denmark from what I understand have been a long term F35 client and thus, in a similar vain to the Australian govt, mandated that some of the manufactured components had to be done locally. Bring on Terma. This contract also is an extension to an existing and only for the center fuselage. QHL are still producing parts exclusively, tail spars etc I think QHL is also producing fuselage parts from what I recall.
Your correct though with the F35 being vitally important to QHL. Not because it's our only business but its buying the company time to diversify their offering. Which is exactly what they're doing. It's the work and exposure to the F35 etc that's landing them opportunities elsewhere, im sure QHL will receive extensions as well, albeit margins may be tighter with the Trump camp keen to reign in costs, however my thoughts are that skinny margins can be overcome with a ramp up in volume.
