rsg reported very good results for the year just ended. however, it appears that gold production will fall substantially in the coming year, or two. the obatan mine has closed down, and it appears that the company will be mining lower grade ore, from the golden pride mine, for the next two years. after that the ore grade recovers, and the results should be good, given the plant upgrade. the company has also actively reduced it hedging position, so that should be a plus. the cash cost of production for the next year, will be about $250 us dollars per oz, and production of 155000 oz. there is a bit of debt associated with the plant upgrade. no dividend for the year
i tend to think the shares are fully priced. syama is the big wild card though .
