Ok, previous statements were that they were capable of producing the following:-
Annual production Daily production
Gold 50,000 oz 137 oz
Silver 600,000 oz 1644 oz
Copper 10,000 tonnes 27 tonnes
Zinc 14000 tonnes 38 tonnes
Actually produced Equivalent days of full production
Gold 1,276 oz 9.3 days
Silver 26,988 oz 16.4 days
Copper 449 tonnes 16.6 days
Zinc 1462 tonnes 38.5 days
In the previous announcement it was stated that zinc was being produced at expected production levels (100%), copper at 65%, gold at just on 50% but no mention of silver. Therefore if we take the zinc figures then every the other metals should be relative to those.
However, they have only acheived 24% of estimated gold production (9.3/38.5x100), 42.6 % of estimated silver (16.4/38.5x100) and 43.1% for copper (16.6/38.5x100). I was expecting higher production figures and these figures just don't add up.
Anyone with any thoughts?
