That is my understanding - Someone posted a link to either the ASIC or ASX site where the details are located, I think as a pdf file. From my reading they seem to have closed any loopholes I could think of where you are the direct beneficiary (this includes companies as sole trader/simple partnership, trusts, and I cannot remember though I would think a self-managed super fund with you as a beneficiary would count just as much as a sole trader company or trust - though if you can find the site/document I'm sure it will clarify this - my main interest was whether I could get shares with both a joint account and individual account and I found I couldn't (WMT specifically disallowed this anyway).
