SGX Iron Ore CFR China (62% FE Fines) index futures
March Final Settlement Price is $ 86.84
FSP is the average price for the IO of the indicated specification for the whole month.
FSP for February, as calculated month ago, is $88.07
Both months were extremely profitable for the iron ore miners. They were profitable for the steel scrap traders as well.
31 March daily settlement price (DSP) for April Futures is $79.00, this is virtually the Spot Price until Monday and a good predictor for the FMG
SP in the morning trading. Dalian is on holidays so trading may be less volatile.
I may post data for SGX Futures in a tabular form and with a clear indication of the price change from the previous day. Change and trend, rather than absolute value, are more important for short term trading.
